Questions Pertaining to Therapy Beta and My Website

  • If you are viewing my website with “dark mode” enabled on your device, you will be seeing a different color palette than what I had designed for my website, which makes some of the pages harder to read. If you want to view my website with the color palette that I had designed, then I suggest having “light mode” enabled on your device. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me!

  • Good question! I can understand how this can be confusing, as it is a bit unconventional. You might have picked up on this, but I like doing things in a way that is a bit out of the ordinary. ;)

Through my Wholistic Physical Therapy Business (Therapy Beta), and Dr. Snezhana’s Kitchen (launching in 2026), I have a resounding theme: to inspire, educate, and help people flourish naturally. When I look at the society around us, I see too many people who are way too busy. I see too many people who are just going through the motions of life and who are exhausted, and unfulfilled with the daily 9-5 grind. I see people who are constantly stressed out, who are addicted to social media, and the majority of people are unhappy, hopeless, and in a “funk.” Most people are experiencing a decline in health due to the above mentioned factors, the synthetic pharmaceutical drugs they are taking, as well as the heavily toxic food and drink they are consuming. All of this has become normalized and very much accepted by the American culture. For clarification, by toxic food and drink, I am referring to items with preservatives, chemicals, artificial dyes, pesticides, synthetic fertilizer, and various lab created nonsense. I don’t see many people who are actually FLOURISHING. Do you? The majority of people are barely existing, and are very much degrading synthetically. This is NOT how it should be.

I believe God created us to do more than “exist.” He created us to flourish. And He created us to flourish with the natural medicine that He has provided. The natural medicine includes, but is not limited to: herbs, nontoxic food and drink, culinary mushrooms, exercise, sun exposure, intentional time in nature, and slowing down to be more present. By nontoxic food and drink, I am referring to nourishing food and drink with no preservatives, no chemicals, no pesticides, no synthetic fertilizer, and no lab created nonsense.

I believe God created us to flourish naturally, not degrade synthetically. That is my passion. That is my mission. That is how my husband and I strive to live each day, and that is why I chose to name my website “flourish naturally.”

You don’t have to believe in God to work with me, but the way I treat and practice is absolutely inspired by my gratitude for God and His Sovereignty.

  • Nope, I sure don’t. If you have a TLDR mindset, then I am definitely not the appropriate health practitioner for you.

I believe great things take time and are not meant to be rushed or shortened. Restorative healing is a process that you can’t approach with a “TLDR” mindset. Changing daily habits is a process. Obtaining knowledge is a process.

For those who might be unfamiliar with TLDR, it means “too long; didn’t read.” It has become very common in the generation of “I am too busy, but also addicted to doom scrolling on social media and have a 5 second TikTok attention span.”

  • No, absolutely not. I believe that in order to truly experience healing, the root cause of the issue must be addressed. I do not believe in simply placing a band-aid on symptoms, which is unfortunately very common practice in the current allopathic American “healthcare” system.

Since I am aiming to find the root cause of your injury and/or ailment, I need adequate time to review the various components from a wholistic lens. This includes your mind, spirit, and both the internal and external environment of your body. You are not just a “physical injury,” you are a whole person. In order to guide you towards complete healing, I need time to dive in deep to better understand you as a whole person.

Believe me, even 2 hours is not enough time to truly understand everything about a person. That takes a lifetime. However, I do my very best to learn as much as I can during the 2 hours. If I had shorter Initial Evaluation sessions, I would feel rushed, and would not be able to provide the kind of quality care that I want to provide to each one of my patients.

  • Ah yes, if I got a dollar for everytime that I was asked this question, I think I’d be close to paying off my student loans! (Just kidding, the student loans will go to the grave with me.) ;)

Many people are disappointed with my answer, until they grasp the concept of what true healing is. I cannot give you a specific time frame for when you will recover from your injury. Why? Because every single injury is different, and every single body is different. In order to experience true healing, we must get to the root cause of the issue. This takes time, effort, and mental fortitude. The time that it takes to heal varies from person to person.

Although our allopathic American “healthcare” system wants you to believe that all you need to heal is to take a “magic pill” or a “magic supplement,” that is just simply not true. God did indeed create our bodies with the ability to heal in absolutely amazing ways, but healing is a process. Your injury and/or ailment did not develop overnight, and thus healing does not happen overnight.

All that being said, the more committed and diligent you are with following your rehabilitation exercises, as well as the diet and lifestyle recommendations, the better your chances are of making a more efficient and long lasting recovery.

In regard to you “not having time to be injured,” do you think your current habits might have something to do with why you got injured? :)

  • Yikes! I sure hope you do not believe everything that pops up in a Google search. It is so very important that each one of us practices critical thinking in all aspects of life. You should practice critical thinking even with the information that I provide.

To answer the question, no. Google did not take the time to learn about you and your unique situation. As a Wholistic Doctor of Physical Therapy, I will always want to assess you through a wholistic lens prior to developing a home exercise program for you. I do not create generic home exercise programs, they are made specific to YOU. And I cannot make them specific to you, unless I assess you myself.

  • As a Wholistic Physical Therapist, I believe it is unethical to prescribe rehabilitation exercises and movements for an injured individual, without addressing their diet and lifestyle habits. Your musculoskeletal or neuromuscular injury is not separate from your diet, nor is it separate from your lifestyle habits. What you consume in regard to food, drink, social media, news, conversations, stress, and so forth, either creates an environment of healing within your body, or it creates an environment for disease, ailments, and injuries to manifest. Simply put, your diet and lifestyle habits are either fighting disease and injury, or fueling it.

If you are not interested in the wholistic approach, and/or do not have the time for such an approach, then this tells me that you have not made your health a true priority. True healing, the kind that gets to the root cause in order to make healing last, requires that you take personal responsibility for your actions, thoughts, and your health.

I have chosen to adopt the wise recommendation by Hippocrates, who is believed to have said: “Before you heal someone, ask him if he’s willing to give up the things that make him sick.” If you are not willing to give up the things that make you sick, then I am probably not going to be the health practitioner for you. I am not talking about giving up your hobbies, not at all! I am referring to making necessary diet and lifestyle changes to encourage a healing environment within your body, and flourish naturally.

If you are not ready to make health your priority, then you would be wasting your money, time, and energy if you scheduled a session. Additionally, you would be taking away a slot from a person who is ready to prioritize their health.

  • These are good questions. I can understand how it can initially be difficult to see a connection between the food and drink we consume and what seems to be a “physical injury.” In our current allopathic “healthcare” system, we are taught that if you have a muscle or ligament tear/sprain/strain, or a fracture, then you have a “physical injury,” and you might “need” an MRI, a steroid shot, over the counter medication, surgery, or all of the above. But how many health practitioners in the allopathic “healthcare” system are educating individuals regarding the importance of creating a restorative internal environment, as these “physical injuries” are very much occurring on the INSIDE of the body? Very few health practitioners are doing so.

Think about it. Under normal circumstances, are your muscles on the outside of your body or on the inside? Are your ligaments on the outside of your body or on the inside? Under typical circumstances, these structures are on the INSIDE of your body. (We have a serious emergency if these structures are hanging outside of your body.) So if you have experienced a strain, tear, or sprain of these structures, this has actually happened on the INSIDE of your body. Meaning, the internal environment and the health inside your body is crucial for the ability of these structures to heal. So how do we influence the internal environment and the health inside of our body? Through what we consume via food, drink, our thoughts, exercise, sleep, managing stress levels, spending time in nature, and so forth.

Additionally, what you eat and drink plays a very important role in the integrity or lack of integrity of the structures in your body. Our cells, which are the foundational building blocks of the various structures within our body, such as our muscles, ligaments, nerves, and so forth, are influenced by what we put into our body. The ideal fuel for our cells are wholesome ingredients that are pure, and not toxic, comprised of vitamins, minerals, fiber, phenolic compounds, complex carbohydrates, various nourishing fats and fatty acids, as well as high quality protein. Keywords being: pure, and nontoxic. That might seem like common sense, right? You might say: “Well duh, why would I put toxic things into my body?”

That’s a very good question. Unfortunately, the standard American diet is comprised of “food” that is filled with synthetic ingredients such as preservatives, artificial food colors, lab created chemicals, pesticides that are used on produce, and an assortment of synthetic flavor enhancers. This is NOT ideal fuel for our cells. In fact, evidence has shown that these are actually toxic to our cells. But they don’t seem toxic, because they don’t come with a “biohazard” symbol, they are hidden in the form of “food.”

So if you are consuming these kinds of ingredients, your cells are now being made up of these toxic components. And since cells are the foundational building blocks within our body, this now means that the integrity of your tissues, ligaments, muscles, and bones are being compromised and weakened. When these structures are compromised, your baseline or threshold for how much load your structures can tolerate before experiencing a strain, tear, or break is lowered, thus predisposing you to more frequent injury. Additionally, the time that it takes to heal from such injuries is increased if your body is being fed these kinds of ingredients as your body’s systems and communication signals become less efficient and compromised. The body will often times end up staying in a chronic state of inflammation, which affects the healing process, leading to nagging injuries that linger and/or a very frequent cyclical state of reinjury.

I say this over and over again, because it is not said enough: What you put into your body either creates an environment for healing and restoration, OR it creates an environment for injuries and sicknesses to manifest and linger. Simply put, your diet and lifestyle habits are either fighting disease and injury, or fueling it. And yes, this is even applicable to a finger injury.

I go into more detail regarding the specific types of food and drink that are nourishing, healing, and nontoxic when I work with patients directly.

  • First off, YAAAY! In my opinion, making the decision to prioritize your health is the best investment you can make in your life. At least it has been for me, that is for sure!

Second, I understand the feeling of being overwhelmed and not knowing where to start. I was once there. If you have not yet read my personal healing journey, then I highly recommend that you take the time to do so. You will find it on the “Meet Snezhana” page.

If you choose to work with me, I will make sure that you are NOT alone on your healing journey. I will meet you where you are at, and we will take baby steps that are appropriate and manageable for you and your unique situation. I mean it, I will be there WITH you, every step of the way. That is absolutely a promise. That being said, you do have to be ready to put in YOUR part of the time, effort, energy, and commitment. I cannot take your healing journey FOR you. But I can, and will take your healing journey WITH you.

  • Because real life is better, much better.

I’ve done the Facebook and Instagram thing, and I did not like the habits that it was encouraging me to develop. I found myself getting onto my social media accounts first thing in the morning to doom scroll. And what did I accomplish with this activity? Absolutely nothing productive or beneficial. And if you are being honest with yourself, you are also accomplishing nothing productive by doom scrolling. I found myself developing the desire for validation from others through the amount of likes and comments I would receive. I found myself developing FOMO (fear of missing out) if I did not check my social media throughout the day. Additionally, I was becoming exhausted from the constant bombardment of trends and clickbait headlines such as “the ONE thing you MUST be doing, or else….!” In more recent years, there has also been a drastic decline in professional decency on social media platforms.

I do not want to provide valuable information on social media platforms that have an audience of doom scrollers, TLDR mindsets (too long; didn’t read), and the 5 second attention span. I do not want to “create content” in a way that “fits” into the algorithm. I am not trying to fit into someone else’s box. Life is much better when lived OUTSIDE of a box.

Did you know that you can be good at your job and/or hobby without needing to create “catchy reels” to entice people to follow you? In fact, I am a much better Physical Therapist without social media, as I no longer participate in an activity that wastes my time. Instead of wasting my time, I am now using my time to continue improving myself in my personal life, as well as in my professional life. Time is a precious gift that I strive to use wisely.

  • Oh goodness, no! Not at all. In fact, if any human, (including the one who calls themselves an expert), claims to have all of the answers, I would be very wary of them. I believe that only God has all of the answers.

However, I do have a lot of personal and professional experience, as well as continued studying that I do on topics such as: rock climbing related injuries, Wholistic Physical Therapy, root causes of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries and ailments, and the powerful healing properties of herbs, mushrooms, nature, and nontoxic food and drink. (This is not a complete list, I am providing some examples of topics that I regularly study). I am committed to being a lifelong learner, and committed to seeking truth. I will do my very best to provide you with as much knowledge and information as I possibly can. If I do not have an answer, I will be completely honest with you and tell you that. Transparency and honesty are extremely important principles in my life.

  • I do not. I have chosen to be out of network with insurance companies as it allows me to provide extremely thorough care for my patients without being controlled by insurance regulations and reimbursement rates.

Why should an insurance company, who has not met you, and does not know your situation, decide what kind of treatment you need? Additionally, why should an insurance company be able to decide what kind of treatment I provide for MY patients? That makes zero sense to me.

  • For Telehealth appointments, I accept all major debit and credit cards. Additionally, I accept HSA/FSA cards and accounts.

For in person appointments, I accept all major debit/credit cards, HSA/FSA cards and accounts, as well as personal checks, and cash.

I can provide you with a receipt regardless of which payment method you choose.

If you are choosing a payment plan, it can be set up with either a debit/credit card or an HSA/FSA card.

  • Yes, absolutely! I understand that we are all in a different financial situation. I offer payment plans as low as needed on an individual basis. There is no interest on these payment plans. I want to be able to provide amazing care for my patients, while also making sure that my patients do not experience financial strain while healing. I mean it. Please discuss payment plans with me if needed.

If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me! I will answer EVERY question to the best of my ability. I believe in honesty and transparency.
